July is a Busy Month for Northeast Seattle Buyers and Sellers
There were lot of keys changing hands this past July. Activity in the housing market is
picking up as inventory continues to remain low. The neighborhoods in the zip
codes 98115 and 98105 have seen 73 homes successfully close and sell in the
month of July. The average time on the market for those homes was 21 days. This
compares to July 2011 where 54 homes sold with an average of 47 days on market.
In July of 2010 64 homes sold in an average of 44 days. Less time on the market means less stress for the seller but the buyer may have to make a decision a bit faster than in years past. In the end everyone can move on to begin building new memories.
